Today, we started a new chapter which is about culture. Cultural characteristics are parts of a groups everyday life. They are the ideas and themes which the group will teach to all members. These same characteristics can also link or divide a region. The examples of that would be language, religion and ethnic heritage. In the class, there are lots of kids whose grandparents are from other countries. But they don't speak their original language at all. Culturally, US is more diverse than China. In the beginning of class, we saw a statistic map of most famous soft drinks in different region of US. The middle of US prefer coke and east of US prefer soda. But there is a group of people in Florida prefer soda where most people prefer coke. The reason for that is people moving can make an effect on culture.
